Poet, Broadcaster, Writer, Journalist, Author, Editor, and Tutor, Peggy first broadcast on BBC  Radio 4 in 1959, articles / features etc. and produced and presented poetry programmes on BBC Radio Merseyside between 1967 – 1988, acting as a poetry consultant for BBC north west 1988-1996.

Peggy's work has been published in The Guardian, Liverpool Daily Post, Deesider, She, and various magazines,.

Under the pseudonym Terry Roche, she published three (older) children’s books - Dobsons  1978,’79,’80.

She has been co-organiser of Jabberwocky (a monthly Wirral poetry night till 1986), and now First Thursday, also runs Fourth Thursday, poetry evening at Wirral’s Greasby library.
